Privacy Policy
1. On-device ad detection
After you consent and enable it in Android settings, Kick Ads uses an accessibility service to access the current app’s package name and the text, identifiers, positions and structure of its controls, and attempts to tap ad skip or close controls according to fixed rules. If you turn on experimental pop-up mode, it also attempts to handle matching promotional dialogs. This screen information is processed on your device; no screenshots are taken and it is not uploaded to Firebase. You can change the app scope, or pause or disable the service at any time.
2. On-device settings and records
Your device stores the protection scope, feature switches and consent choices. Activity records contain the app package name, action type, time, execution status and rule identifier. Up to 50 records are kept, and you can clear them in the app. Records are not uploaded to the analytics service. A performed tap does not guarantee an ad was closed. Uninstalling removes the app’s local data, subject to your device’s system behaviour.
3. Optional Firebase Analytics
Usage analytics is off by default and requires separate consent. When enabled, Google Firebase Analytics receives events such as page visits within Kick Ads, feature settings, consent flow and share-entry interactions, and processes an app-instance identifier, usage/session data, app version and device information; the SDK may infer approximate location from your IP address. This data is not fully anonymous. It is used to analyse and improve the product.
We do not send third-party app package names, installed-app lists, screen text, input content, rule identifiers, accessibility processing records or share recipients to Analytics. Advertising ID collection and advertising consent are disabled in code, and no user account identifier is set. Optional data sharing with Google follows the data sharing settings of the Kick Ads Google Analytics account.
You can withdraw analytics consent in Settings without affecting the main features. Withdrawal stops future collection and resets local analytics data, but cannot recall data already in transit and does not automatically delete data Google has already received. Google’s privacy information: https://policies.google.com/privacy. The analytics service may process data outside your region, as described in the applicable Google terms and actual configuration.
4. Sharing
Sharing is started by you and opens the system share sheet directly. Kick Ads does not read your contacts or send messages automatically. The app you choose to share with processes the content you then send under its own privacy policy.
5. Retention, security and your rights
Local records are kept up to the limit above. Analytics user-level and event-level data is retained according to the retention period set in the Kick Ads Google Analytics property (Google Analytics offers 2 months or 14 months). Firebase transmission uses TLS. Kick Ads does not claim any storage or transmission method is absolutely secure.
You can clear local records, change the processing scope, disable accessibility and withdraw analytics consent. For other access or deletion requests, contact zruilin@126.com.
Kick Ads is intended for a general audience, is not designed for children, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Updates to this policy will be published with an effective date; new purposes will be accompanied by updated notice and any necessary consent.
